Food is always very good, come more often. Only now with our little son. I thought it was a bit of a shame that there was no high chair and unfortunately no ketchup with his french fries. Perhaps you should take 1-2 children's dishes on the menu, otherwise highly recommended.

Cozy, furnished in Hungarian style, good quality food and drinks such as Palinka and wine, also typically Hungarian.

Delicious Hungarian cuisine at moderate prices, friendly staff and corona rules are adhered to. Parking in front of the door. My recommendation!

Since we couldn't go on holiday in Hungary in September / October this year, because the borders were closed, a little longing was satisfied in Gernrode in the Csarda ... 👍🍽🍺❤🇭🇺💋

Very nice atmosphere, good cuisine! Only those who know the original Hungarian cuisine should not set their expectations high. But everything is ok, we like to be guests at the Csarda!

I haven't been to Hungarian food yet. The Csarda has an authentic Hungarian flair. Unfortunately the Csarda does not have any outdoor seating. We had the wedding soup for 3.20 euros, the turkey breast "spring style" with rice for 13.00 euros, the pork fillet "Hungarian style" for 13.50 euros and the pancakes with quark filling and vanilla sauce for 3.30 euros. The wedding soup and the pancakes were delicious. We weren't that happy with the main courses. On the one hand, we are not used to the fact that the meat is unseasoned and should / can be seasoned with paprika, pepper and salt. Possibly. I am a bit unfair here too, as it may be so common in Hungarian dishes. The pork tenderloin consisted of three pieces of meat and two were a bit dry and tough. The third piece was a bit better but not really tender either. The paprika / letscho sauce was delicious and I think typically Hungarian. I would give a total of 3.5 stars, but no half stars are possible. Then why not 4 stars? When it comes to eating, the main courses are the most important to me and I was not so satisfied here and therefore the delicious soup and the delicious pancakes were not enough for the 4 stars. The service was friendly and attentive. Just a note, no rating. There are only drinks in the small size 0.2 liters.

Everything was very delicious, unfortunately there is no Hungarian beer.

I only give it 1 star because my husband liked it. I had the feeling my pork tenderloin was steak and hardly cut. Sauce from the bag (was denied by the waiter) Mushrooms, champions quartered from the can, was also denied. Anyway, I only ate 1 piece of meat and the fries. No agreement with the bill or the like.

Unusual to eat your meat off the board ... Since it is called a wooden board, it should actually be clear! Despite everything, very tasty and hopefully the service!

Price performance was completely okay here. It is very good home cooking. You really shouldn't expect more and the prices are okay for that. We paid 34 euros for two without a tip. In the current situation, I recommend calling in advance and making a reservation.

Very, very tasty food and the wine is just delicious. Waiters were very accommodating.

My beef goulash was good, meat lean and tender. My wife's turkey steak, however, was fade and the vegetables cooked to death, worse than frozen. There was no ketchup for the son either. 2.5 stars.

I really liked this restaurant! It is very quaint and really nicely decorated. The dishes we ordered were all delicious. We will be back

While there isn't much parking and payment is cash only, the food is tasty and quite reasonably priced.

English speaking tourist here. Stopped in while visiting Stecklenberg, and was served a delicious meal! There is no English menu as far as I could tell, so you should be able to speak some German, or have a translator app handy.
